Translate Toolkit 3.20.1

This release fixes plural-form handling, improves language-specific checks and punctuation conversion, and speeds up MDX and Qt TS processing.

• Gettext PO to TMX

  • Export every non-empty plural translation, pairing the first form with the singular source and subsequent forms with the plural source

• MDX

  • Restore embedded blocks in one pass to improve performance on large documents

• Qt TS

  • Index contexts by name to speed up parsing files with many contexts

Quality Checks and Languages

• Compare plural translations with their matching source forms to avoid false positives in placeholder and other source-dependent checks

• Add a Catalan language module that disables inappropriate acronym and capitalization checks

• Preserve newlines when converting Chinese punctuation

Other

• Add testing with Python 3.15

• Require Python 3.14 or newer to build the documentation

• Improve type annotations and update development tooling and CI dependencies
