Translate Toolkit 3.20.3

This release adds a TBX to TMX converter, improves XML header and byte order mark handling, and fixes Apple .stringsdict plural fallbacks.

Formats and Converters

  • TBX to TMX

    • Add the tbx2tmx converter with configurable source and target languages

    • Export all nonempty, nondeprecated term pairs and preserve notes

  • XML

    • Preserve input UTF-8 byte order marks by default in LISA-based stores, including XLIFF, and QPH stores

    • Add the XMLutf8BOM option to preserve, force, or omit UTF-8 byte order marks when writing these stores

  • XWiki

    • Preserve original XML headers, including declarations, comments, byte order marks, and encoding, when saving page properties and full pages

  • Apple .stringsdict

    • Generate the required other plural fallback from many for Russian, Polish, Ukrainian, and Belarusian

    • Omit folded entries with an empty fallback
